Phillip’s passion for all things floral began at a very young age, he spent his formative years surrounded by flowers as his mother owned a flower shop. Most weekends he would be in the shop learning his craft from his mum.
As he grew older, he realised an interest in Art and Design and went on to study metal work, ceramics and glass sculpture at university. These studies were a foundation for his future work as a Floral Designer and now uses flowers as a medium for sculpture.
He draws inspiration for his work from his surroundings, splitting his time between the beautiful English Countryside of Northamptonshire, historical London and the seaside of Cornwall.
His work can be seen on the big and small screen, he is a sought after Floral Designer for the Film and Television industry. His credits include Bridgerton Seasons 2 and 3, Mission Impossible and The Witcher amongst many others.
He has created installations for London’s ‘Chelsea in Bloom’ competition, which runs alongside the famous Chelsea flower show. On several occasions his installations have been awarded Highly commended and Gold from the Judges for his client Kiki McDonough.
He has worked on some exciting projects all over the world. He was honoured to be asked to decorate Eros with flowers in London’s Piccadilly Circus. He installed a floral ceiling in the Sevva restaurant in Hong Kong and in spring 2025 will be working with the St Louis Art museum for Art in Bloom
